/ LAYER ONE - the form

Every MIFI object begins with an idea — quiet, intuitive, and shaped by hand.

We build the base from sturdy cardboard, cut and assembled to outline the form. Layer by layer, recycled paper is added, pressed tightly into place to give the piece its structure and weight.

This stage is slow and tactile. Each curve is adjusted by hand, allowing the object to grow naturally, without haste or repetition. The form settles over time — not rushed, but revealed.
